For everyone who noticed the recent downtime (yesterday), it was immediately noticed by the team running the server and web services (ask someone who that is, we can't post a link here for some unmentioned reasons). The issue was corrected in as timely a manner as possible.

Finally, after a long period of work over the summer, the website is being launched into beta. This is the final stages of testing.

This is the part where we select random (non-technical) users to test and report on the status of the different components of the site. It is also where the Instructors write up the details that need to be on the site, and when the spelling, grammar, etc. that is used around the place gets cleaned up.
